Monaco

When hearing the name Monaco, most think of the grand prix, expensive yachts, fine dining and money. All which is very very true! With all that it is still a beautiful place to visit for the day and see how the rich live! Our wallets will be happy though, as tipping isn’t very common in Monaco. More often then not the high prices already include a service charge. Use our guide below though to figure out who you should tip while in Monaco!

Taxis

Taxis: Tipping a taxi driver isn’t common or expected. You can round up to the nearest Euro to make things easier.

Hotels Hotels: Service is almost always included in hotels and you should check before tipping. Feel free to give the bell boy 1-2 Euros per bag though.

Restaurants Restaurants: Service is often always included. You should double check when paying your bill. If not then you can round up for exceptional service.

Bars Bars: Tipping bar tenders isn’t expected or required.

Other Other: Like the rest of Europe, tipping isn’t very common in Monaco. More often then not service will already be included so there is no reason to leave any other tip!
