Tipping In Belgium isn’t too common since service is often included in the bill. Thats probably a good thing since Belgium is home of thousands of delicious beers! From wheat beer to fruit beer it will be hard to find one you don’t like! More money in your pocket means more money to try the wide range of beers! However, you should use our tipping guide though to find out when you should tip and how much!
Taxis: Its not expected, but rounding up the nearest Euros is appreciated.
Hotels: Service is included in the total cost. You don’t have to tip but if the bell boy was to carry your bags then a Euro per bag is fine.
Restaurants: Service will be included in the bill. You should only tip additionally if you feel service was exceptional. If you do tip extra it shouldn’t be more then 10%.
Bars: No tipping required as service should be in the bill. If you did receive exceptional service or enjoyed yourself then a few Euros is fine.
Other: Belgium is a great country but outside what we mentioned above you won’t find much of a need to tip anywhere else.
