Tipping in Guinea isn’t very common but usually is expected. Tipping can be pretty common all around Africa due to the low wages. Guinea isn’t on many peoples travel list but the people are friendly and the hiking is amazing. There are a few amazing places still untouched where wild life roams. Taxis: When taking a taxi in Guinea you can round up the fare if you had a nice ride.
Hotels: Tipping in Hotels isn’t common or expected.
Restaurants: If you received great service you can tip 10%. However, check the bill first to make sure a service charge wasn’t included.
Bars: Tipping Bartenders isn’t common, you can leave the change if you enjoyed the service.
Other: If you take a guided tour try and arrange everything before you leave. You can tip a small amount if you really enjoyed yourself.
