Sweden is an amazing place for outdoor travels. It is home to amazing hikes, beautiful views, old towns and amazing wild life. While it can be expensive it isn’t a place to pass up! Tipping goes both ways in Sweden and can be a bit confusing at first. Use our guide below to relax and enjoy your holiday in Sweden!

 

Taxis Taxis: You can round up the fare and leave the change as a tip if you enjoyed the ride, but its not expected!

 

Hotels Hotels: A service charge is included in the price so there is no need to tip at hotels in Sweden.

 

Restaurants Restaurants: Almost always a service charge is included in the bill. However, many will round up the bill or leave the small change.

 

Bars Bars: Like restaurants, tipping a bar tender isn’t expected. You could round up and leave the small change.

 

Other Other: Tipping isn’t expected in Sweden, but more often then not people will round up the bill or leave the change if they had a good experience!
